SKIP'S AMERICAN FAMILY:
IMPORTANT -- PLEASE
We don't mean to bore you by including personal information about Skip's family on this "resort" website. The personal information about Skip is included here only because a great many of our customers come from Asian countries where there are sayings similar to the following: "Never do business with a man until you know his parents -- his children -- his grand children -- his great-grandchildren -- and the birthdates and interests of each."
When the Asians repeat those types of sayings, they often laugh as though they are joking. However, amidst the laughter they none-the-less admit that this philosophy is often an important part of their culture.
Because of this Asian philosophy, we know that many of the resort's potential Asian guests (especially the older ones) will view this site as being an "introduction" to Skip and his family. Consequently, in order to show proper respect towards our Asian brothers and sisters, we feel obliged to include a considerable amount of information about Skip -- and his family -- on these pages.
Thank you for your patience...
In the order of birth, Skip's American children are as follows:
DeWELLE FERGUSON ELLSWORTH, lll [THE THIRD]:
Skip's oldest son, DeWelle Ferguson Ellsworth III – the third -- graduated Cum Laude from the University of Washington. He was accepted into the Phi Beta Kappa Scholastic Honorary Society. He then graduated from the University of Washington’s Law School, and he is now a very successful attorney in the Seattle area. His grandfather on his father’s side of the family was the Municipal Judge in Cass Lake, Minnesota, U.S.A. His great-great-great-grandfather on his mother’s side of the family was John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. On his father’s side of the family, his great-great- grandfather was Oliver Ellsworth who was the third Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
The photos below were taken during DeWelle's visit to the Philippines. He and his dad went "island-hopping" -- exploring -- and they enjoyed sharing the wonderful Filipino culture.
The small red car in the background belonged to Skip. It is called a "Minica." It was made by Mitsubishi Motors specifically for the Asian market. It has a two cylinder motorcycle engine. The car is so small that when Skip, DeWelle, and the girls were going on long trips (e.g. from Cebu City to Daanbantayan, etc.) DeWelle had to hang his legs out the window.
Here are a few recent (?)
photos of DeWelle. In the group photo, DeWelle is on the left -- followed
by Skip -- Skip's mother -- Skip's daughter, Elizabeth -- and Skip's youngest American son,
ELIZABETH INEZ ELLSWORTH:
[Skip's one and only precious daughter.]
Elizabeth Inez [Liz] Ellsworth, was a National Merit Scholar. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound. She was accepted into Phi Beta Kappa Scholastics Honorary Society. She was also accepted into the Phi Kappa Phi Scholastics Honorary Society. At this writing, Elizabeth manages her own business-financial affairs, and recently built a brand new home in the Seattle, Washington area. She is the strongest, most capable and most intelligent woman that Skip has ever met.
Here are a few recent photos of Liz...
This is all four of Skip's "American" kids. They are "hanging out" in one of the living rooms in the FAMILY-HOME at the ranch near Seattle, Washington.
DeWELLE FREDERICK [FRED] OSBORN ELLSWORTH:
Skip's son, DeWelle Frederick [Fred] Osborn Ellsworth, graduated from Brandeis University. He then obtained an MBA [a Master's Degree in Business Administration]. He previously worked as the financial analyst for Lockheed Martin -- and was also involved in "PROPERTY MANAGEMENT" in the Boston, area. He is now involved in other aspects of business. In Skip's opinion, it is highly likely that Fred will become the first multi-millionaire (in U.S. Dollars) in the immediate family.
Here are some relatively recent photos of Fred...
Fortunately, Fred found the "right" woman -- and therefore he is VERY happily married to his wife Lisa. They now have two awesome children -- TWINS !!
[Here are a few photographs of the precious children -- with more to follow...]
CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE LOVELY CHILDREN FOR CHOOSING SUCH WONDERFUL PARENTS.
SKIP'S THIRD SON IS NAMED "ELLSWORTH."
Ellsworth has no first name and no middle name. This happened when he was born 35 years ago, and the Hospital said it would NOT release the boy until after we named him. Frankly, we LOVE it whenever the bureaucrats try to tell us that we "can't" do something. graduated from the University of Washington -- lives in an awesome three-story log home near Monroe, Washington -- and is now managing his own businesses in the U.S.A.
If I knew "then" what I know "now" then Ellsworth would have no name at all -- not even "Ellsworth."
Can you imagine how that would confuse the bureaucrats that are trying to take away ALL of your rights ???
Ellsworth has an awesome three-story log home in the Monroe, Washington area. He is now managing is own businesses (and his dad's businesses) in the U.S.A. This son is highly ethical -- totally honest -- and he can be TRUSTED to deal honestly regarding any and all issues. Therefore, no man could ask for a better "pardner."
HERE ARE A FEW PHOTOS OF "ELLSWORTH":
[More photos will be added soon -- showing Ellsworth's lovely wife, CJ. These photos were taken before Ellsworth shaved his head, etc.
MORE "FAMILY PHOTOS" OF SKIP'S AWESOME KIDS WILL BE ADDED SOON.
SKIP AND HIS MOTHER -- JUST PRIOR TO HER DEATH IN 2002 -- AT 98 YEARS OF AGE.

OUR THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY ARE AS FOLLOWS:
"The inherent right in
the people to reform their government, I do not deny; and they have another
right, and that is to resist unconstitutional laws without overturning the

"Is the democracy which overthrew the feudal
system and vanquished kings now retreating before tradesmen and capitalists?"
Alexis de Tocqueville 1805-1859
"No one can read our American Constitution without concluding that the people who wrote it wanted their government to be severely limited; the words 'no' and 'not' are used in restraint of government power 24 times in the first seven articles of the Constitution and 22 more times in the Bill of Rights":
Edmund A. Opitz
If the law becomes an enemy to the people, then the people will become an enemy to the laws. Those who have much to hope and nothing to lose will always be dangerous."
"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear":
Harry S Truman
